Is this legally valid?
Yes. The affidavits generated here follow the standard format used by Indian courts and government offices. The PDF is ready to print, sign in front of a notary (₹50-100 fee), and submit anywhere an affidavit is required.

Do I need to visit a notary after this?+
Yes — Indian law requires affidavits to be sworn before a notary or oath commissioner. Print the PDF, sign it in front of a notary (typical fee ₹50-100), and the notary stamps and registers it. The affidavit is then legally valid.
How is stamp paper priced?+
You pay the government stamp duty face value (₹10–₹500 depending on affidavit type) plus a small API processing fee. GemSetu's affidavit service fee is separate (subscribers on Operate+ get monthly credits). Stamp charges always apply.
Is e-stamp included?+
In supported states with live e-stamping enabled, yes — you receive a merged PDF with UIN + QR. Until then, checkout shows stamp duty as a line item and your PDF includes offline stamp-paper instructions (buy non-judicial stamp, print, sign before notary). GemSetu service fee is separate; Operate+ subscribers get monthly draft credits.
Will my data be safe?+
Yes. All data is stored in India (Mumbai), DPDP Act 2023 compliant. We never share your details. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing [email protected].
What if I make a mistake?+
You can regenerate the affidavit with corrected details by purchasing again. We do not currently offer free edits after payment. Always check the preview carefully before paying.
Can I get a refund?+
Digital products are non-refundable once generated. If you face a technical issue and we cannot generate your affidavit, we will refund the full amount within 5-7 business days.
