How it works
How does AI empower my business on GemSetu?+
GemSetu puts AI on specific jobs — finding leads, writing content, preparing bids, running business calculators — while you stay in control. Free AI tools let you feel the power first. Paid AI runs when you need more output, from one account and one credit wallet.
Do I need a GeM account?+
No. Free AI tools, Lead Finder, and Content Planner work without GeM. GeM Procurement AI is for businesses that sell to government on the Government e-Marketplace.
How do AI credits work?+
Credits pay for AI deliverables — a qualified lead, a content plan, bid documents — not logins or seats. You start with 150 free credits. Free AI tools never use credits.
Are the AI tools really free?+
Yes. Dozens of AI generators and calculators at gemsetu.com/tools work without a card. Use them to see how AI fits your business before you spend anything.
Does the AI work in Indian languages?+
Yes. Lead Finder and Content Planner draft in English, Hindi, Hinglish, Tamil, and more. The site itself supports English, Hindi, and Tamil today.
Am I in control of what AI sends?+
Always. AI drafts and recommends — you approve and publish. We never post to social media or GeM on your behalf. Data stays in India, DPDP Act 2023 compliant.

Never. AI finds leads, scores intent, and drafts replies. You edit and send. Risky threads are filtered with the reason shown.

What is a Bid Folder Pack?+
One pack = one tender workspace until bid close (or 90 days). Upload bid PDF + annexures, AI builds a document catalog, select & batch-generate drafts (18 included), merge your vault, download ordered .zip. Extra AI generations cost ₹199 each or ₹999 for a heavy pack (+10). Operate includes 1 pack/month; Bid Prep 4; Bid Studio 10.
Is GemSetu affiliated with the government?+
No. GemSetu is an independent SaaS product built by sellers, for sellers. We scrape public GeM data to keep you informed faster than the official portal does. We are not affiliated with Government e-Marketplace or any government department.
How is my data protected?+
All data is stored in India (Mumbai region) and we are fully compliant with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. Your GSTIN, PAN, and bid history are encrypted at rest and never shared with third parties. You can delete your account and all data at any time.
Do I have to upload my GST or PAN to use the product?+
No. You can browse all live GeM bids on the free plan without uploading anything. Documents are only needed when you start tracking orders or want personalised bid eligibility checks.
What payment methods do you accept?+
UPI, all major credit and debit cards, Net Banking, and digital wallets via Razorpay. UPI works best for monthly auto-debit on Indian MSME accounts.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?+
Yes. Cancel from your billing page in two clicks. You keep access until the end of your current billing month. No questions asked, no cancellation fees.
What if I am a CA or consultant managing many clients?+
The Partner plan (₹24,999, or ₹12,499 founding) manages 25 client accounts with 20 Bid Folder Packs per month on your account. Or join the free Partner Programme — refer paying sellers and earn 10–15% recurring commission.
How does the Founding Member discount work?+
The first 90 sellers and 10 agencies who subscribe to any paid plan lock in 50% off — not just the first month. Your price never increases, even as we add features or raise standard pricing. Cancel and rejoin later means standard rates apply.
Is there a free plan?+
Yes — browse matched bids, save tenders, and use your document vault on the free tier. Upgrade to Operate (₹1,499 founding) for Bid Folder Packs, payment recovery, and unlimited alerts. Bid Prep and Bid Studio add more folders per month.
